National Association Certificate
Certificate of Attendance will be granted by the National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd after 90 hours of course formation by attending Parts 1 and 2 of Level 1.
Level 1 Part 1 (summer 2007) Level 1 Part 2 (summer 2008).
What should I bring to training?
You will need to bring a notebook or paper to keep notes. Many bring a camera/film and a tape recorder/tapes for taping lectures and presentations. These are optional.
You will be preparing an "Album" as part of the course. This will contain all of the presentations (lessons) given in this Level 1 course. Materials provided at training will be a large 3 ring binder (donated/no cost), page protectors (purchased in bulk to save $). Buying in bulk keeps these expenses low for everyone. Pens and Pencils will be available for your use.
What does "Babes in Arms" mean?
Infants who are not yet mobile, those who can be held, placed in an infant seat or play quietly in one place on a blanket. The training is very intense, there will be extensive note taking. The babes will be welcome in the training sessions as long as they do not distract others.
