Formation Training

Level 1 Ages 3-6

July 7-11 and 14-17, 2008 - Part 2

Hosted by: St. Marys Church

1812 Lynn Avenue

Altoona WI 54720

We invite you to join us for a two week intensive formation training session that will be a spiritually rewarding learning experience you will forever treasure. We would like to assist as many catechists as possible during our upcoming formation training. Although there are set costs involved with hiring the trainer and materials that we must cover, we would like to offer a sliding scale for tuition based on the number of participants from outside our parish. This will hopefully encourage and allow more interested individuals to participate in the training. We will keep all costs at the minimum possible to host the course. In order to offer this option it is important for you to commit to the training, there will be a non-refundable registration deposit of $100.00. This will be applied to your tuition. Tuition balances are due by June 1, 2008. Early registration will be very helpful to all involved. We need a minimum of 4 participants and there is a maximum of 14 participants. If we can get 14 participants the tuition will only be $215.00 per person. (See tuition scale.)

*Limited space is available at our parish guest house for women on a first commit (paid registration fee), first serve basis. Stay at the parish guest house will be with other women in the formation training. You will need to provide your own food at the guest house. The guest house has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom facilities. There is no additional charge to stay at the guest house. We offer this to help keep your costs to a minimum. (Couches available for more sleep space.)

*Hotel and transportation costs are your own expense.

*Lunch and snacks each day of formation training provided by hosting parish. Breakfast and evening meals are your own expense.

*Sessions meet daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (Mon-Thurs 2nd week) with an hour lunch. There will be optional practice time from 3:30 to 4:00 each day.

*Babes in arms are ok during class, please be considerate of others if babes become distracting.
